About the role
We're looking for an experienced/fresher Service Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of medical devices and instruments.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test medical equipment at hospitals, & clinics.
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
- Diagnose technical issues and provide effective troubleshooting and repair solutions.
- Calibrate, validate, and verify equipment performance as per manufacturer standards.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
- Train end-users and biomedical staff on proper usage, safety, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company quality policies.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical team to support equipment demonstrations and installations.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in servicing medical equipment (freshers with relevant training can apply).
- Strong technical knowledge of biomedical devices, diagnostic systems, and healthcare equipment.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel extensively for client visits and field service.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
